Mindful/Respectful Parenting Course

With other like-minded parents’ you will discover your triggers, your patterns and learn techniques to work with these to gain a more connected relationship with yourself and your children, even in those difficult times.

This is a mindfulness workshop to help you discover who you are and who you want to be on your parenting journey and it will give you tools to help you become more often the parent you would like to be.

This mindfulness course will help you discover through meditation, information, interactive group work & self-awareness & journaling exercises.


This eight week workshop will cover your:

  • What is Mindful Parenting
  • Dealing with Barriers
  • Gathering the scattered mind
  • Discovering your triggers and how to work with them
  • Core beliefs and how these effect you
  • Staying present – listening with full attention
  • Exploring acceptance of self and child

  • How can I best take care of myself
  • Acceptance & change

Workshop Details

Investment is $200 which can be paid in full or on a week by week basis. Includes workbook, recorded meditations and workshop time.

The workshop numbers are small to allow space and time for active participation.

Dates: 12th May – 30th June. (8 weeks)

Day/Time: Wednesdays 7-8.30pm

Location: Natural Living Yoga Studio, Founders Park, Nelson

Cost: Individual rate $200; Couple rate $360
