Mindful Chakra Journey Course

Join me for a journey of mindful exploration through three energy centres in our body – base chakra, sacral chakra and solar plexus chakra. Our Chakras are our body’s energy centres. Depending on our experiences in life and our perspective of our experiences, these centres can either be functioning effectively or ineffectively. The functioning of these energy centres can effect our whole being – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Being aware of these centres and how we can help them to function effectively can help us to thrive on all levels of our being.
There are many things we can do aid in the rebalancing of our chakras, and many of these can be explored through mindfulness. It is the balanced aspects of these chakras we will be exploring bringing into our life.
Week One – Base Chakra – Finding our Rhythm (may be changed to week two)
Week Two – Base Chakra – Being Present in our Natural World (may be change to week one – weather dependent)
Week Three – Sacral Chakra – Creativity & Expression of Creativity
Week Four – Sacral chakra – Creating an Abundant Life
Week Five – Solar Plexus Chakra – Letting Go of the Power Struggle
Week Six – Solar Plexus Chakra – Acceptance and Intuition
This is a six week course. You can sign up for the full six weeks or join us on a casual basis. We will dedicate two weeks per energy centre/chakra to explore each chakra and possible ways of rebalancing through a mindful perspective.
Each week will consist of:
• A brief discussion of the energy centre and theme for that evening
• An activity/exercise
• A guided meditation
Dates: 4 November – 9 December
Day: Wednesday evenings
Time: 7-8.30pm
Cost: $15 casual/$80 for full six week journey
Where: Natural Living Yoga Studio at Founders Park – park at the back of the carpark and look for yellow double storied building with green sign.
What to Bring: Journal, pen, comfort things – cushion, blanket, yoga mat, etc
