Holistic Pulsing

Holistic Pulsing is a gentle mind-body therapy that engages in a two-way process between the therapist and client toward wholeness. The client lies on a massage table, fully clothed, and their body is rocked to its present rhythm.

Initially, the body and mind start to relax simultaneously as the nurturing, hands-on rocking movements start to melt away stressed nervous system responses. As this meditative state engages, the outside noises, worries, and distractions melt away. One is left with peace and calm and an awareness of their body and mind. This regenerative state can restore energy and balance to the nervous system, fascial system and lymphatic system.

On a deeper level, the nurturing movement can assist the flow of energy and water throughout the body and mind releasing tension, patterns of holding, emotions and blockages. These releases give the body and mind new options for ways of being and relating in the world. Overtime, integration of these new ways of being can be achieved.

Here is an introductory video of Holistic Pulsing by the New Zealand Holistic Pulsing Guild.

“A healing session with Crysal is gentle and calm. As I relaxed into enjoying the rhythm of the rocking motion I felt my worries float away and I emerged from the session feeling very relaxed, and yet energised. Crysal’s garden studio is warm and comfortable.”
